HortiHydrate Bio is a wetting agent that has been formulated by leading surfactant experts to create a unique blend of sustainable ingredients. This environmentally friendly product boasts equivalent performance to standard synthetic surfactants, representing a vast improvement over products that are currently available.
HortiHydrate Bio improves water and fertiliser use efficiency. It includes ingredients with superior infiltrating, spreading and re-wetting properties, reducing production costs.
Standard synthetic wetting agents are made using fossil fuels and contain co-polymers that are classed as plastics. Yucca extracts have been used for many years as alternative more environmentally friendly wetting agents, however the efficacy of these products is routinely much lower than synthetic products. HortiHydrate Bio provides the powerful surfactant properties of synthetic wetting agents in an environmentally friendly and sustainable product.
Suitable for all crops grown in conventional cultivation, HortiHydrate Bio is approved by The Soil Association for use in organic growing systems.
