HORTIFEEDS enjoyed a remarkably successful day at the recent Fruit Focus tradeshow in Kent.
The team engaged enthusiastically with both new and long-standing customers, discussing their wide range of fertilisers and biostimulants, and providing expert advice on boosting fruit crop yields and quality.
Hortifeeds was privileged to be selected to participate in the BASIS ‘Knowledge Trail’ . This initiative allowed visitors to earn valuable CPD points by answering challenging questions on plant nutrition and fertigation of soft fruit. The Hortifeeds team facilitated these discussions, with many participants finding the exercise both beneficial and informative.
A special highlight was the presence of Dr Robert Kempster, Lead Application Scientist at Plant Impact, who discussed the advantages of the patented CaT calcium mobility technology in their product Amētros™ . This product has consistently demonstrated improvements in Class 1 yield, fruit quality, and shelf life across a variety of fruit crops. The relentlessly cold and dull weather for much of the year so far was a popular topic of conversation. For many fruit crops, establishment and growth has been slow and root development has been poor.
