Horti-Cron is a high quality liquid fertilizer containing Polymethylene Urea, which provides genuine slow release Nitrogen in a safe, non-phytotoxic form.
This form of Nitrogen resists leaching and volatilisation when applied to leaf and soil but is rapidly absorbed by plants and translocated within the plant, providing long term, even feeding of Nitrogen, without unwanted growth surges.
Treated plants show increases in leaf and root size after 2-3 weeks. Leaf colour is improved more immediately and the foliage takes on an attractive waxed, shiny appearance, more resistant to attack by pests and disease.
Horti-Cron has been found to be particularly suited for application onto foliage house-plants to improve leaf colour and shine and also onto transplants, prior to leaving the nursery, or when hardening off prior to planting in the field.
Three products are included in the Horti-Cron range:
Horti-Cron Straight N
Contains 34% Nitrogen (70% as polymethylene Urea) for an instant and lasting "green-up" on Nitrogen hungry crops.
Horti-Cron NPK
A high Nitrogen analysis (40% as polymethylene Urea) with added P & K in a 6-1-3 ratio = Trace Elements. For use as a general foliar feed, where some lasting slow release Nitrogen is required.
Horti-Cron NK
A lower Nitrogen analysis (40% as polyethylene Urea) with added Potassium and Iron. For use on crops requiring an instant "green up" but where the need to avoid soft growth calls for extra Potassium.

Horti-Cron is a clear liquid with near neutral pH and is non-hazardous. Horti-Cron will not clog or harm pumps, irrigation pipes or drippers and can be tank mixed with other pesticides and bio-stimulants.
Horti-Cron is packed in 10 litre plastic cans (2 per cardboard outer).
