Hortifeeds Direct has strengthened its sales team with the appointment of Terry Grimshaw as Technical Sales Manager for the East of England.
An industrial chemist turned plant nutritionist, Terry brings over 25 years experience as an agronomist and commercial plant grower to his new role. His career to date has seen him working in the Near and Far East, Africa, the Caribbean and the Pacific as well as in the UK and, prior to the Gulf War, resulted in him being held hostage by Saddam Hussein.

He has an in-depth knowledge of growing protected salad and flower crops using hydroponics and considerable experience of the application of fertilisers to a wide range of field crops using soil, fertigation or foliar routes.
Terry is also a FACTS Certified Fertiliser Adviser and, as a member of the Hortifeeds team, will be offering his services to growers throughout the Eastern Region. Hortifeeds Managing Director Daniel Wilkinson said they were delighted to have obtained his services. Our business is built on being able to offer growers much more than just bags of fertilisers.
We aim to work in partnership with them to ensure they get the perfect balance of nutrition for their crops. Terrys experience and expertise, gained across the world, will strengthen our team and our ability to meet the needs of growers.
Sales Reorganised
With the arrival of Terry Grimshaw at Hortifeeds, there has been a reorganisation of the sales territories with the aim of providing on-the-spot service to customers throughout the UK.
Terry brings his experience and expertise to the East of England with a territory covering East Anglia, Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire and Humberside plus Northants and Beds; John Crinall continues to look after the Northern Region plus part of the Midlands; Stephen Appleton is responsible for the South; and Richard Cameron looks after Scotland and the northern-most counties of England.
This team of specialists will help you select the most appropriate product for your requirements, provide you with quotations and will manage your order through to delivery.
